Charli & Charlie

October 1, 2019

Shooting a wedding in Santorini was a dream. Literally.

With the bride Charlotte (nickname Charli) originating from Western Australia and James (nickname Charlie) the Groom from Tasmania, it made sense to take their nearest and dearest away from their home island… to this tiny paradise island.

The morning started with a fog over the Caldera, while the girls enjoyed a yoga session. Meanwhile, the guys hung by the pool at their villa, nervously preparing for one epic (and hot… like really hot) day.

The girls got frocked up at Rockabella Santorini with Charlottes dress coming all the way from Perth, purchased at Tuscany Bridal and a local hair and make up artist making her look A-M-A-Z-I-N-G.

To make the most out of all of their friends and family being in Santorini, the ‘Charlies’ decided to take their photos before the ceremony. Which meant that we did a bridal reveal along the Caldera before we took off to hike up and down the white steps of Thera.

After taking the bridal party on a trek on a 40 degree day in Santorini, we headed back to Rockabella for the ceremony which was fuelled by more tears (from the groom) and love from their close knit group of friends and family.

After the ceremony, the bridal party took off for some final photos in the last light over the Caldera whilst the guests made their way to reception at Ampelos Restaurant in Thera.
